Post for post's sake

Just to give myself the impression that I am still blogging, here goes: a post. The lonely post for the month of May.
That last short story was a very unpleasant surprise. So unpleasant, in fact, that it stopped me writing altogether. I will resume writing, I will resume painting, and I will resume altering the shape of the landscape with hand-tools, but right now I am standing back, taking a very deep breath (smokers cough stifled), and will take a long look at what happened here.
Kind actors and other "theater people" passed the hat around  for a gift certificate to an art supply shop, so I'm all set with all kinds of exotic materials, which I would not normally buy. Let's see what comes of this.
